MY STORY
My professional career began in 1996, as a Trainee Copywriter at BBDO Mexico. Through the years I achieved bigger responsibilities and higher positions in the office. The last one: Group Creative Director, coaching a very talented team of Creative Directors, Copywriters and Art Directors. Together we built the communication platforms for many clients such as: Bayer, Cuervo, ConAgra Foods, Chrysler, Mars pet care and P&G among others.
In this time I also developed campaigns that have been exported and adapted to Center, South America, Europe and Asia. For both, Local and Global markets. In some of these ones, in collaboration with other teams from the BBDO network, such as Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, France, Guatemala, Germany, Italy, Puerto Rico, Spain, UK and USA. Particularly for clients like Bank of America, Bayer, Gatorade, Gillette, Lay’s, M&M’s, Pepsi, Splenda and Whiskas.
My work has been recognized and awarded locally and internationally in advertising festivals like: El Circulo Creativo de Mexico, Food and Beverage Awards, Moebius, N.Y. Festivals, Tellys, London International Awards, The RX Club, Cannes Lions and Effie Awards.
After 17 amazing years, an incredible opportunity came my way, and I seized the chance to move to Jersey City, NJ in the USA. I embarked on a journey of exploring new places and discovering innovative ways to merge my expertise with my passions. I created “My Empire State of Mind”, a photo book paying tribute to the people who built the Empire State Building. Additionally, during this time, I collaborated as a Photojournalist at a digital publisher: remezcla.com considered the most influential media brand for Latino Millennials with national and international audience in the US, Latin America, and Spain. I also designed and launched this website, including a virtual photo gallery and a blog.
Four years later, I returned to Mexico and reentered the world of advertising agencies, this time working at TERAN TBWA for BBVA, the most important bank in Mexico and the second largest in the world. This role provided me with a fascinating account featuring a wide array of products and services, offering numerous opportunities to devise the best communication solutions for them.
